"Sourp Astvadzadzin 7th Century Armenian Church"
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD CHURCH "Sourp (Saint} Astvadzadzin Church" (in Armenia) - Circa 7th Century. The church is located in the small village of Voskepar, along the Armenian defense lines, on the border of Azerbaijan. During the war with Azerbaijan, in the 1990's, the village and church, periodically, came under fire from the Azerbaijani's.
The church is still used today by parishiners from the nearby villages.
