"Geghard Monastery" a UNESCO World Heritage Site

A 4th century architectural and cultural treasure located in Armenia. Its name translates to "Monastery of the Spear", referencing the spear that is believed to have pierced Christ's side during his crucifixion, which was once housed there.

The Monastery was originally built into a cave with sacred springs emerging from the surrounding cliffs.
